80mm Refractor with Altazimuth Mount Tripod

$89.99
Checked 2026-10-24

This 80mm refractor uses fully multi-coated optics to improve light transmission and image clarity. With a 600mm focal length, it provides a versatile range of magnification for observing the moon and planets. The altazimuth mount allows for simple up-down and left-right movements, which is intuitive for most new users.

Included with the telescope are a phone adapter, a moon filter, and a carrying bag for storage and transport. The 80mm aperture is a middle-ground size that offers better resolution than smaller 70mm models while remaining lightweight. It is designed to be easy to set up in a backyard or at a park.

In this set of equipment, this model serves as a reliable entry point for hobbyists. The refractor design means the mirrors do not need alignment, reducing the technical workload for the user. It is a practical tool for those who want to explore the night sky without a complex learning curve.
